Commemorating the release of "Kingdom" Blu-ray BOX! A special site looking back with hot famous scenes is now open!

To commemorate the release of the Blu-ray BOX of the first and second series of the TV anime "Kingdom," a special website has been opened to allow viewers to look back on the hot and soul-stirring famous scenes of the "Kingdom" series.

This work is a TV animation of the manga "Kingdom" by Yasuhisa Hara, which is currently serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha). The original comics have sold more than 70 million copies, and the first live-action movie was a huge hit in April 2019, becoming a social phenomenon.
The story is set in China during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period and follows the adventures of a boy named Nobu (CV: Seiichi Morita), who aspires to become a great general, and a young king named Eisei (CV: Jun Fukuyama), who later becomes the first emperor of China. The second series was broadcast from June 2013 to March 2014.

The third series depicts the Gasshogun Arc, which is said to be the largest scale battle in the history of "Kingdom," and will begin airing in April 2020. The broadcast of the fifth and later episodes had been postponed, but it has been decided that the broadcast will begin on April 4, 2021 (Sun.) from 24:10 on NHK Sogo, starting from the first episode.

A special site was opened to commemorate the release of the Blu-ray BOX!

Prior to the broadcast of the third series, the Blu-ray BOX of the first and second series will be released. A special site has been opened to commemorate the release. The site offers a look back at the "soul-stirring" hot and famous scenes with video clips, and is a recommendation project that concentrates the appeal of the first and second series in a long story.

The selection focuses on hot and famous scenes such as "Succession from Wang Ki to Shin" and "Masa and Shixia", which will lead to the history of "Kingdom" up to now and the upcoming third series. Let's take this opportunity to look back at the special site.

We recommend the "soul-stirring" scenes from the first and second series! The meeting between Nobu and Drifting, and between Nobu and Yomei, as well as the succession from Wang Ki, and other hot and famous scenes!

The "Ou-tou-da-kan-hen" (The Retaking of the Capital), which begins with the death of Nobu and his best friend Drifting and his encounter with Isei, and the "Ou-tou-da-kan-hen" (The Fall of the King's Horseman), which describes the birth of Hishintai, the fierce battle between Zhao General Houcheng and Qin General Wangqi, and the succession from the King's Horseman to Nobu. The first series, which includes "Ou Ki Rakumei Hen," depicting the succession from Ou Ki to Nobu, will be released on March 19 (Friday).

The "Qin-Chao Alliance" depicts the unknown past of the Yejong, and the battle between Ren Phowa and Meng Yong in the invasion of Wei and the struggle of young generals such as Feishintai, Gyokuhoutai, and Gakkaitai. The second series, which includes the "Sanyo Retrieval Arc" depicting the struggles of young generals such as Hishintai, Gyuhoutai, and Gakkatai, will be released on April 23 (Fri.).
