The media mix project "Lapis Re:LiGHTs: Idols in This World Can Use Magic" is based on the theme of "magic x idols. The story is about girls who aim to become "witches" with the power to activate magic through spells and melodies.

<Story
The story takes place in Maamkestel, a town where bright sand and its crystalline form, pyroxene, are widely used as a source of power. Girls who use Kisa and Kiseki to invoke magic through spells and melodies are called "witches," and are admired by the people for their singing and extermination of magical beasts.

Flora Academy, a school for apprentice witches, was founded by the Witch of the Dawn.
A girl named Tiara, who dreams of becoming a great witch, knocks on the school's door.
