Battousai the Manslayer, once again...! Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan" new TV anime project announced! Production will be handled by Raiden Film!

A new TV anime project of the popular comic "Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan" (Jump Comics / "Hokkaido Arc" is currently serialized in Jump Square), originally written by Nobuhiro Watsuki, has been announced.

The announcement was made during the "Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Kenshaku Roman Tan, Hokkaido Arc" program broadcast at Jump Studio RED during "JUMP FESTA 2022" on December 19, 2021.
It was announced that the new anime will be produced by Raiden Film, and a teaser PV was also shown.

Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Kenshaku Roman Tan is a very popular comic series by Nobuhiro Watsuki that has sold over 72 million copies worldwide and was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 1994 to 1999. Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan: Hokkaido Arc" has been serialized in "JUMP SQUARE" (Shueisha) since 2017. It has been adapted into a TV anime, OVA, and theater anime, as well as a live-action movie, musicals in Takarazuka, and a wide range of other media mixes.
