TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Brave Riders Season 2" new visuals and PV #3 released! Episode 1 synopsis & advance cuts revealed!

The third new visual and the third PV of theTV anime "The Rise of the Shield Heroes," which will start airing on AT-X, TOKYO MX, and other stations on April 6, 2022 (Wed.), havebeen released. In addition, the synopsis of the first episode and advance cut were also released.

The Rise of the Shield Hero" is a popular light novel by Aneko Yusagi that was first published on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-kaerou" (Novelist's Letter) and later published in book form by MF Books. It is a fantasy about an otaku college student, Iwatani Naofumi, who was summoned to another world as a hero but lost his money and position.

The new visual and the third PV of "Season 2" have been released. The new visual symbolizes a new battle.

The third PV features the ending theme "Yuzurenai" sung by Chiai Fujikawa and focuses on Licia, who has become a member of the shield heroes, with a high drama content.

＜Introduction

Naofumi Iwatani, an ordinary college student, is summoned to another world as one of the Four Sacred Heroes, the "Shield Hero.
Although he was falsely accused and suffered numerous persecutions, he joined forces with his dear friends Raphtalia, Firo, and Melty to protect the people from the "Wave," a calamity that threatens the world.
Shobun regained his honor and gained his own territory with the help of Queen Merlomarck and his successes.
He was now ready to fight the coming wave again.
However, in the Land of the Reigame, located to the east of Merlomarck, it was confirmed that the Reigame, a monster that brings about unprecedented disasters, had returned.
Shobun receives a request from the Queen to defeat the Reiki, and heads for Reiki with his new companion Licia.
While the allied forces are assembling, Shouwen is suddenly confronted by Ost-Houli, the regent and wife of the King of Linggui Kingdom.
She informed him of the existence of the person who illegally revived the turtle. Will he be able to defeat the turtle and get to the mastermind behind it?
To protect what is important to him, the hero of the shield rises up once again.
