Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that "Super Bomberman R 2" will be released in 2023 on PS5/PS4/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/Steam/Switch.

The "Bomberman" series is a party battle game that has been popular for many years. The main character (Bomberman) is controlled and fights using bombs, and victory is achieved by defeating all rivals.

The previous title "Super Bomberman R" was released in 2017. In 2021, "Super Bomberman R Online" was released with free basic play, offering players around the world a place to engage in heated battles. Now, the latest title in the series, "Super Bomberman R 2," has been released with new and exciting features!

In the new battle mode "Castle," players can enjoy "asymmetrical battles" in which they fight over "keys" and "treasure chests" by splitting into challengers and defenders, or they can play in stages of their own making. The popular "Story Mode" is a new game mode in which an original story unfolds as you explore the field!

The new battle mode "Castle" is born!
The well-known Bomberman battle mode will newly add an asymmetrical "Castle" mode in which players are divided into two sides to fight.

The defender (Castle Side) is one person.
Together with "Elon," the helpful mascot, set up "defense gimmicks" in your own stage and protect the "treasure chests.
The player wins by defending even a single treasure chest until the time limit expires.

The "Battle Mode" familiar to the "Bomberman" series is included!
The "Standard" mode allows up to 16 players to play either online or offline, the "Grand Prix" mode allows two teams to fight in a team battle, and there is also a 64-player simultaneous battle mode!
