Series Original Plan and Supervision by Gen UROBUCHI! The second cast of "Kamen Rider Zangetsu" -Armor Gaiden- was announced!

The second cast of the first theatrical production of the Heisei Masked Rider series, "The Stage "Masked Rider Zangetsu" -Armor Gaiden-" has been announced.

The stage "Masked Rider Zangetsu: Armor Gaiden" is the first theatrical production of the Heisei Masked Rider series, starring Masked Rider Zangetsu, who appeared in "Masked Rider Armor/Gaim," the 15th episode of the series that aired from October 2013 to September 2014 and still boasts overwhelming popularity today.
The stage version will also star Yuki Kubota, who portrayed Takatora Kurejima, Masked Rider Zangetsu in the "Masked Rider Armor / Gaim" TV series, and will portray a deep human drama in a new, original story that has not been depicted before.

The play will be written and directed by Nobuhiro Mori (Shonen Shachu), who also wrote the script for the TV series.
The series will be drafted and supervised by Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus) and scripted by Jin Kouya (Nitroplus), the same staff that created "Masked Rider Gaimu".

The story is about a giant corporation, Yggdrasil Corporation, which has redeveloped Sawame City, the setting of the "Masked Rider Armor: Gaim" TV series, and the leader of its research division, Takatora Kureshima, is transformed into Masked Rider Zangetsu.
He is a pure white rider clad in melon armor. He is a ruthless realist who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals, and stands up to the "children" of the Armored Troops as an "adult. He also has a side to his brother Mitsuzane, who transforms into Masked Rider Ryugen, where his eyes tend to glaze over as he tends to be naive.

The new cast members announced this time include Haruki Okaiyama, who has been well-received as Tomoegata Naginata in the musical "Sword Dance" and has played important roles in a succession of high-profile productions, such as Gilgamesh in "Fate Grand Oeder THE STAGE", Kirihara Akiya in the second season of the musical "The Prince of Tennis", and Kikugoro Kikugoro in the stage production of "The Wimpy Kid". Motohisa Harashima, who is known for his unique performances as Akiya Kirihara in the 2nd season of the musical "Prince of Tennis" and Kazusa Kaburaki in the stage production of "WIMUSUGI PEDAL," and others.

Expectations are high for the new development of the Heisei Masked Rider series that will be spun out on the stage by this splendid cast.
