The Access Controller, an accessibility controller kit for PlayStation 5, will be released on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Pre-orders will be accepted starting July 21 (Fri.) at 10:00 a.m. The price is 12,980 yen (excluding tax).

The Access Controller for PS5 is a completely new accessibility controller kit that was first unveiled at this year's CES under the code name "Project Leonardo. It can be customized in a variety of ways to help people everywhere enjoy games more easily, comfortably, and for longer periods of time.

A number of interchangeable button and analog stick caps are included, allowing players to freely change the layout to suit their own strength, range of motion, and physical needs.
Players can reassign buttons, create up to 30 profiles, adjust stick settings, toggle long-press button states on and off, and more. In addition, up to two Access controllers and one DualSense wireless controller can be paired to play together as a single virtual controller.
