Monster Hunter Now, a popular app distribution service, today released a major update, "Sekka Chirasuru Hekirai" (雪華散らす碧雷), on December 7, 2023.

A major update, "Sekka Chirasuru Hekirai" (Snow Flower Scattering Hekirai), will be released today on this app. Monsters such as Jin'oga, Buff Baro, Velioros, and Radovalkin will be added to the snow-covered field, and the sleep attribute will be added as a new attribute.

Two new weapon types have also been added: the "lance," which features high defensive performance and a long reach, and the "twin sword," which excels in quick, continuous attacks.In conjunction with these additions, balance adjustments have been made to existing weapons and monsters in order to enhance the enjoyment of using various weapons to attack different monsters. [Addition of four new large monsters
Four new types of large monsters have been added: Radovalkin, Buffbarro, Veriolus, and Jin'oga!Radovalkin, Buffbarro, and Veriolus will also appear in the field by completing "emergency quests" that occur within each chapter of the newly added special quests. In addition to the "emergency quests," the djin ogre will always appear in the "Great Continuous Hunting" during the "Thunder Wolf Dragon Assault" event, which will begin on December 15 (Friday). Even after the event ends, the djin'oga will continue to appear in the "Grand Continuous Hunting" at a certain rate.
New Hunting Experience "Great Continuous Hunting"
The new "Great Continuous Hunting" will begin on December 15 (Friday). In this new hunting experience, a portion of the gathering points will be turned into "continuous hunting points" at specific times, where five monsters will appear one after another within 30 minutes of each other. The "big continuous hunting point" is displayed on the field 30 minutes prior to the occurrence of the event, and in order to participate, you must actually move to the vicinity of the point. When you arrive at the point, you tap the button in the application to start the Grand Consecutive Hunting Point and begin hunting. once you successfully hunt the first monster, you can participate in the hunting of the next monster.Only hunters with a hunter rank of 11 or higher can participate in the Grand Consecutive Hunting, as the monsters are stronger than those encountered in the field. Although it can be enjoyed by a single hunter, a group hunt with nearby hunters is recommended for a successful hunt.
This grand continuous hunt can be joined once every 180 minutes; if you wish to skip the 180-minute cool time, you can purchase tickets (150 gems per ticket) to join the hunt.
The event "Thunder Wolf Dragon Assault" will be held from December 15 (Fri.) to December 17 (Sun.).
Along with the lifting of the ban on the Grand Continuous Hunting, the event "Thunder Wolf Dragon Assault" will be held for three days from December 15 (Fri.) to December 17 (Sun.), and Jin'oga will always appear at the Grand Continuous Hunting points. An event quest will also be available for a limited time during the same period to earn a hunter medal for clearing all of the quests.
