Magical Girls and Evil Were Once Enemies", a romantic romantic comedy "Killing Love, Not Love" based on the novel by Kokoa Fujiwara, will be broadcast from July 2024. It has been decided that the TV anime will be broadcast from July 2024. The main cast was also announced. Tomoki Ono will play the role of "Mila," the agonizingly derelict evil conspirator, and Mai Nakahara will play the role of "Byakuya Fukamori," a light-skinned magical girl, both of whom played the same role in the work's drama CD released in 2015.

Magical Girls and Evil Used to Be Enemies." is a romantic love comedy serialized in the monthly magazine "GANGAN JOKER" (Square Enix) from 2013 to 2015.

It is based on the manga by Fujiwara Kokoa, a manga artist known for her popular works such as "Yoku x Boku SS" (Inuboku Secret Service). The main characters are Mira, an evil conspirator who is trying to destroy the world, and Byakuya Fukamori, a magical girl who fights to protect the world. The two "love to kill" days are comically and cutely depicted, and their worldview has captivated readers.

The original work was discontinued after the sudden death of Kokoa Fujiwara in 2015, but when the TV anime adaptation by animation production BONES was announced last November, the 10th anniversary of the original serialization, "Mahoaku anime adaptation" was the number one trending topic on X in Japan, and the work is still loved by many fans. It is a popular work that is still loved by many fans.

Mr. Ono and Ms. Nakahara also voiced the same roles in the drama CD released in 2015, and after a lapse of about 9 years, they will once again bring the characters to life.

A teaser visual drawn by character designer Haruko Iizuka has also been released. The beautiful illustration, reminiscent of the binding of the first volume of the original comic, depicts the moment of shocking love between Mira and Byakuya. Iizuka was also in charge of character design when "Inuboku Secret Service" was made into a TV anime. I never thought I would be working on another work by Kokoha Fujiwara again.
