Spring Anime "The Fable" Announces Second Cast Including Hiroki Kaji and Yasutsugu Ishii! Teaser PV with the voices of the cast members is released! Broadcasting starts on April 6!

A teaser PV from the spring anime "The Fable," scheduled to air in April 2024, has been released, along with second cast information.

The Fable" is serialized by Katsuhisa Minami in "Young Magazine" and was made into a live-action movie starring Junichi Okada in 2019 and 2021, which was a huge hit, grossing over 3.1 billion yen in total.

Fabre, a.k.a. "Fabre," is an invincible assassin who was trained as a gifted assassin from his childhood and is able to brilliantly kill any enemy within six seconds. One day, he receives a sudden order from the boss of the organization that he must not kill anyone for one year, and he is forced to lead a completely new life in which he does not kill anyone.

He takes the name Akira Sato and spends his first normal life as a professional. However, the unsettling atmosphere that stirs in the midst of his peaceful daily life does not leave Akira alone.... Will he be able to carry out this biggest and most difficult mission? ......

Akira, Yoko, Misaki, Boss, and Jackal Tomioka, the voices of the gorgeous cast will surely enchant you with their characters.

The long-awaited new video begins with Akira's conversation with the boss, which triggers Akira's "hit man on leave": "I won't be working for a while, I've done too much this year! Akira Sato, the main character, who works as a professional assassin but also has a habit of laughing at comedians; his partner and sister Yoko Sato, who talks about the fun she is having during her absence; the heroine who can't leave people in trouble alone, Cape Shimizu; and along with the main characters, "Why don't I do it too? The video shows the voices of the gorgeous cast finally being brought to life for such unique characters as Jackal Tomioka, a comedian whom Akira greatly respects, making the TV anime broadcast all the more anticipated.

In addition to the recently announced voice actors for the main characters, the cast for the supporting characters has also been revealed.
The cast includes Yasutsugu Ishii as Hiroshi Hamada, the leader of the Makuro clan whose territory is Taihei City, Osaka, where the Sato siblings are being taken care of; Ryota Iwasaki as Ryo Kurosio, Ebihara's younger brother; Yudai Mino as Katsuya Takahashi, another brother; Kojiro Takahashi as Soichi Sunagawa, a Makuro clan leader and number three in power; and Kiyomitsu Mizuchi as Mats, a handyman who serves the underworld, Kenjiro Takada, the president of Octopus, a design company, is played by Takeharu Onishi, Etsushi Kainuma, a designer who works at Octopus, is played by Takumi Asahina, the master of Bar Buffalo, Yoko's main venue, is played by Kazuya Ichijo, a regular at Buffalo, aka Yuki Kawai, a.k.a. "Pe Diyocha", is played by Hiroki Kaji.

The TV anime "The Fable" will begin airing nationwide on April 6, 2024 (Sat.) at 24:55 on Nippon Television Network Corporation. After the broadcast, all episodes will be available exclusively on Disney Plus.

The first part of the series was serialized in Kodansha's "Young Magazine" for about five years until November 2019, and the first part was completed. The second part, "The Fable the second contact," which gained popularity, will be regrettably completed in July 2023. A total of 24 million copies of the book have been sold.
