M-Gaming, a gaming lifestyle brand, will release the "SnackBox MICRO LITE" [hereinafter referred to as MICRO LITE], a leverless controller from JunkFood Custom Arcades, a game controller manufacturer highly supported by fighting game players around the world, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. MICRO LITE inherits the features of the representative model of the SnackBox series, "SnackBox MICRO," such as a compact and slim design that is the smallest and lightest class as a leverless controller and the fastest class "Amber" low-profile mechanical switch. The new model is a high-cost model that is affordable by limiting the compatible devices to PC, Nintendo Switch, Android, and Steam Deck, and by simplifying the chassis. SnackBox MICRO LITE - Main Features

The 12 action buttons are equipped with Kailh low-profile "Amber" switches, which have a linear-type speed axis and a 1mm actuation point. Compared to normal low-profile switches (1.5 mm actuation point), the Amber switches are 0.5 mm shorter and maximize the power in fighting games, where a split second of operation speed can directly affect the outcome of the game. In addition, switch components can be hot-swapped to your favorite switches without removing screws to enjoy customization. Furthermore, the switch functions can be customized with a dedicated application to pursue quicker operation.

SOCD (Tournament) Mode Switching Function

The SOCD (tournament) mode is a function that controls the movement when simultaneously pressing opposing buttons such as up and down, etc. The settings are switched according to the rules of e-sports tournaments, and MICRO LITE can switch the priority when simultaneously pressing directional buttons (up and down, left and right). In the standard classic mode, the upper button is given priority when the up and down buttons are pressed simultaneously, while in the tournament mode, no button is given priority when up, down, left and right are pressed simultaneously. The setting is toggled by holding down the button to be set for 5 seconds when the USB plug is connected to the main unit.

Dedicated smartphone app "JF Connect

By downloading the dedicated smartphone app "JF Connect" from the iOS App Store / Google Play and connecting the MICRO LITE via Bluetooth, you can easily set button function settings, customize LED colors and lighting modes, and even update firmware with your smartphone. You can easily configure settings.

Detachable USB cable

The cable is detachable and can be removed and stored when the controller is not in use. The USB Type-C plug connected to the main unit is L-shaped, making it difficult to disconnect even if the cable is unexpectedly pulled. Since the cable is detachable, even if the cable becomes disconnected, the MICRO LITE can be used again by replacing the cable.

EVA mat on the bottom

A moderately heavy bottom plate is used to ensure stability. An EVA mat is attached to the bottom to prevent slippage even when MICRO LITE is placed on a desk or lap.
