Season 3 Part.2 of "Shinkage no Kyojin" airs in April; OP theme is Linked Horizon, ED theme is cinema staff!

The OP & ED artists for the TV anime "Shinkoku no Kyojin" Season 3 Part 2, which will begin airing on NHK Sogo in April 2019, have been determined.

The "Shinkage no Kyojin" anime is based on the comic series by Hajime Isayama, serialized in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), and is a dark fantasy that depicts the battle between man-eating Titans and humans, as well as the mysteries and conspiracies surrounding the world.
Season 1 was broadcast from April to September 2013 and Season 2 from April to June 2017, and became a huge hit due to the overwhelming quality of its powerful action and tension-filled direction. The series has gained popularity around the world, and a theatrical compilation and a live-action movie have also been produced. General director is Tetsuro Araki, director is Masashi Hizuka, series composition is Yasuko Kobayashi, character design is Kyoji Asano, and music is Hiroyuki Sawano. Production is by WITSTUDIO; Season 3 Part 2 (episodes 50-) of the anime will begin airing on NHK Sogo in April 2019.

It was announced at the "Attack on Titan SPECIAL EVENT" held on Sunday, February 3, 2019, that Linked Horizon will be in charge of the opening theme and cinema staff will be in charge of the ending theme of this work.

I was in charge of the ending theme for Part 1, but now I'm back for the opening theme. And Eren and his friends are finally coming back to the Shiganshina district. It has been a long period of time. During that time, many things have happened, many battles have been fought, and Eren and his team have carried many feelings on their shoulders. We, too, have many feelings. I would like to say that we put all of our feelings into this song, and based on the many things we have participated in singing, we created this opening theme song as a culmination of all of them. I hope you will enjoy it.

Cinema staff
In creating this song, we wrote sketches of about 10 new songs of various types based on the orientation given by Director Araki, and this song was the last one to emerge.
In a word, this song is about "kizuna" (bonds). It is a song about the birth of a bond and the destruction of a bond; it is a song about a shining era that will never return. It is a song about people who look forward to the future even though they are battered and bruised. I hope it will be a suitable ending theme for "Shinkage no Kyojin" Season 3 Part 2. Right now, I am still in a state of anxiety about whether we are fulfilling our responsibility, but more than that, I am not looking forward to the day when I get to see the work!
