The TV anime "Mr. Takagi the teasing friend 2" will start airing on July 7 on TOKYO MX and other stations. The second PV depicting the "water cutter" battle and the main visual have been released. A new character played by Koki Uchiyama and Aoi Yuki was also revealed.

The "Karakajide no Takagi-san" is a popular manga serialized in "Gessan" (Shogakukan) by Soichiro Yamamoto. It is a love comedy depicting the casual exchanges between "Mr. Takagi" and "Nishikata-kun," two junior high school classmates. The manga depicts the daily life of Takagi-san, who teases Nishikata-kun in a suggestive manner, and Nishikata-kun, who is interested in Takagi-san despite being pushed around; it was made into a TV anime from January to March 2018 and was very popular with many viewers who "grinned" at their interactions.
