P.A.WORKS announced the production of "original new buddy anime", and today, a special program to announce the information was distributed. The title of the work is "Buddy Daddies" and it will start airing in January 2023.

The director is Yoshiyuki Asai, who has worked with P.A.WORKS on a number of productions, with story draft and series composition by Bio Shimokura of Nitroplus and series composition by Yuko Kakihara.

The character design is by Enami Katsumi of "Baccano! and music by Katsumi Kitagawa (ROUND TABLE).

As previously announced, Toshiyuki Toyonaga and Koki Uchiyama play "buddies," two assassins: Toshiyuki Toyonaga's Ikki Kurusu is a "man who has run away from love," and Koki Uchiyama's Zero Suwa is a "man who does not know love. played by Toshiyuki Toyonaga, is "a man who has run away from love.
