People thrive in a world where "Giant Beasts" are prevalent. The story begins when "Jiro, a mortal," meets "Kuumi, the twenty-second one," who is being chased by something, and the story begins to move.

＜Synopsis.
--The girl does not know the outside world. The faraway land of Ars. It is a story of a world of giant beasts that shake the earth and humans who hunt them.
A nameless girl escapes from an imperial fortress, scatters her pursuers, dives into the sea, and washes ashore in the port town of Arki. She is curious about everything she sees, so she takes the name Kuumi and strolls through the town. It was then that a giant beast attacked the town.
In the crisis, Kuumi's power begins to go out of control. It is then that the "Gyiro the Deathless," a giant beast hunter from the stream, takes Kuumi's hand. A contractual ceremony takes place.
