Today, December 27, is the birthday of popular voice actress, Marrei Uchida, who is very active as a voice actress, singer, live-action movie star, and commercial artist! Akiba Research Institute has conducted a "Just before the birthday of Marei Uchida, we held a poll on her popularity! We have conducted our own "HAMARI Character Popularity Poll" to determine the most popular character played by Ms. Uchida, based on 1900 votes cast between December 20 and December 25.

Ms. Uchida officially started her voice acting career in 2010 and will celebrate her 10th anniversary in 2020. With this anniversary just around the corner, she has played a great many characters, ranging from main characters to supporting sub-characters, and even a pretty, beautiful girl. From the main characters to the supporting sub-characters, from the pretty girls to the cool boys, there is a wide variety of characters.

The results of this poll, in which 73 characters were entered, are as follows.

First place went to Rokka Kotoyu, who seems to embody the " chuunibyou heroine" trope, in " Chunibyou ga Koi ga Shitai! Rokka Kotoyu is the embodiment of a "chuuni morbid heroine. The gap between the chuunibyou character's "kukku kukku ......" and the genuine expression that peeks out at the slightest moment is irresistible, and Uchida's skill as a voice actor can be seen in the way she reproduced this in her performance. The fact that she was able to reproduce this in her performance shows her skill as a voice actor. The fact that she was able to reproduce the gap in facial expressions between the two characters' faces in her performance is a testament to her skill as a voice actor.

Personally, I think the appeal of Uchida's performance lies in the gap between the character she usually shows and the honest side of her character.

We applaud Mr. Uchida for his magnificent performance as Norman, a character with such a variety of charms and elements.

The third-place finisher, Sharo from " Is Your Order a Rabbit? is the second work that has brought out the best in Ms. Uchida, following Rokka (No. 1). Usually, Sharo is an honor student with a serious personality, but once he gets involved with Lise and Senya, he transforms into a cute character! And when she is attacked by a stray rabbit, she is so cute that you want to protect her.

And what's more, the cute and pretty Ms. Uchida in the PV of "Daydream cafē," the OP of the first season of the anime, was so cute that it made our hearts skip a beat!

As you can see, the top three are all popular works and characters. However, the top four and below are also filled with charming characters that are full of Ms. Uchida's personality.

No. 4 " Noragami " Hiyori Iki was the most interesting for the gap between her elegant character and her crashing performance in gag scenes, and No. 5 " I'll become a twin-tail.
