New visuals, additional cast information, and a new synopsis have been released for the theatrical version of "SHIROBAKO," scheduled for release on February 29, 2020 (Saturday).

SHIROBAKO" is an original animated television series that depicts the daily lives of five girls in the animation industry. A theater version with original episodes will be released on February 29, 2020.

A new visual and synopsis of the film have been released. The new visual depicts the main character, Aoi Miyamori, and other familiar characters in a lively atmosphere. The details of the synopsis are as follows.

Synopsis
The five members of the Animation Club of Kamiyama High School vowed to make an animated film together someday over doughnuts at Hyotan-ya.

After graduation, each of the five is involved in animation production. Aoi Miyamori is the creator of "Ekuso Dassuku! Through the production of "The Third Flying Girl Team," they gradually moved closer to their dreams and began to think about "what I really want to do.

On the other hand, Aoi, who was spending her time struggling with her daily work, was entrusted with a new project, an animated feature film. She feels uneasy. Will she be able to deliver the animated feature film in time?
