Obituary] Voice actor Kahiro Shima, known for his "Disney works" Goofy and Tom and Jerry, passed away on July 28.

Voice actor, Takahiro Shima, passed away from myocardial infarction on July 28, 2028. He was 70 years old.

According to Tokyo Announcing Academy, where Mr. Shima worked as an instructor, Mr. Shima died of myocardial infarction on July 28.
A wake was held on July 31 and a farewell ceremony on August 1.

Mr. Shimaka was known as a famous voice actor who played various characters in "Tom & Jerry," "Transformers," and "Code Geass," as well as dubbing for many live-action movies, including the popular character Goofy from "Diz NieR Nime" and the "Kingdom Hearts" game. He has also dubbed for many live-action films.

He also taught at Tokyo Seiyu Produce and opened a private school, "Seiyu Kyoshitsu Gooftooloop," where he helped aspiring actors develop their individuality.
