Today, February 3, 2020, from 12:00 p.m., the air band "MASOCHISTIC ONO BAND" (Masochistic Ono Band, also known as MOB) from the radio program "Hiroshi Kamiya and Daisuke Ono's Dear Girl - Stories" (also known as "DGS") will be going on a nationwide tour. DGS" is a radio program featuring popular voice actors Hiroshi Kamiya and Daisuke Ono, which began broadcasting on Bunka Hoso in April 2007. With the concept of "for the one and only 'you' in front of the radio," various stories are delivered in conjunction with the "Animelomix Dear Girl" mobile site.
The program has been adapted into a movie, a comic book, a novel, a video game, and a collaboration with a confectionary maker.

In 2017-2018, the third radio program "Dear Girl ~Stories~ THE MOVIE3 the United Kingdom of KOCHI" was produced as a two-part movie in more than 50 theaters nationwide. In April 2018, the event "DGS VS MOB LIVE SURVIVE" was held for the second time at Saitama Super Arena.

The "MASOCHISTIC ONO BAND (Masochistic Ono Band. (a.k.a. MOB)" is a six-piece air band born out of "DGS. The members are ONO-D (Vo), HIRO-C (Vo), 3M (Gt), DO-S (Ba), YAGI84 (Key), and CHANKO (Dr). Leader ONO-D made their impressive debut at the DGS program event "Dear Girl~Stories~Festival Carnival Matsuri" held at Nippon Budokan in February 2013.
Later, a live-action movie "Dear Girl~Stories~The Movie2 ACE OF ASIA" was produced to document their visit to Hong Kong to shoot a PV for their first original song "Ace of Asia," which was well received in many places. After such indie activities, they made their major label debut in 2014 with the mini-album "Masochistic Over Beat" on U&R Records. With the mini-album in tow, the band embarked on its first national tour in 2015, "MASOCHSTIC ONO BAND LIVE TOUR 2015 What is Rock? ～was held in 2015. They also performed at DGS program events held at Saitama Super Arena in 2016 and 2018.
In November 2019, the perfect year is starting with the 6.9 anniversary of their debut (6 years and 9 months), with the announcement of a special project for the 6.9 anniversary during the DGS on November 23, 2019.

The nationwide tour "MASOCHISTIC ONO BAND LIVE TOUR 2020 6.9 ~Thanks for Rock! ～will commemorate the 6.9 anniversary of MASOCHISTIC ONO BAND's debut with the release of their mini-album "6.9" on June 9, 2020, followed by an 8-show tour in 4 locations throughout Japan from July to September 2020.

The pre-order started today and will be accepted until 23:59 on February 17 (Mon.). The application will be by lottery, not first-come, first-served, so don't forget to apply by the deadline, 23:59 on February 17 (Mon.)!
