THE FOUNDATION, the first DLC for PS4's CONTROL, will be available in late April! New storyline, side missions and super powers!

Marvelous announced that "THE FOUNDATION," the first downloadable content for the company's upcoming PS4 actioner "CONTROL" ("Control"), will be available in late April.

Control" is a third-person action adventure from Remedy Entertainment, developer of "Alan Wake" and "Quantum Break," in which players fight using their psychic powers. Jesse Fayden, the protagonist, infiltrates a classified agency in New York City that has been invaded by an otherworldly threat as an agent. In order to uncover his past, he uses his psychic powers in a battlefield that changes in various ways to take on an unpredictable world. The game has won more than 25 awards at THE GAME AWARDS and other global game awards, making it one of the most popular titles of 2019.

The DLC, "THE FOUNDATION," features a new storyline. In order to stop the Astral Plane, a world in another dimension that has begun to invade Aldest House, Jesse heads to THE FOUNDATION, the lowest level of Aldest House, to confront a new threat. Other new side missions and super powers are also likely to appear. Incidentally, this DLC can be played after clearing the main game.
