Cast Comments Arrive

The following are comments from Taishi Murata and Sadajo Matsuoka on the announcement of the cast (all in Japanese).

Taishi Murata as Shun Hashimoto
Congratulations on the anime adaptation! Thank you very much! I can't wait to see the innocent and peaceful world of ETLANZE recreated on film, and I'm so happy to have met Shun Hashimoto again. I am so happy to have met Shun Hashimoto again. I will do my best to live up to his expectations with my performance.
Having said that, before I received the offer, I honestly thought that it would be difficult for me to continue from the Drama CD, just like Shun in the play... for various reasons. I am sorry! (Sweat) So I was more than happy to be offered the role, and I shared the joy with Mr. Matsuoka, who played the role of Mineo. I hope to convey the charm of Etrancée to both fans of the original work and those who have never seen it before. I am sure that everyone, including myself, will be interested in how well the favorite scenes are reproduced in the film. I hope that you will take a look at the original work now and prepare for the release of the film. Thank you very much for your cooperation in making "Etrandse by the Sea" a success!

Sadao Matsuoka as Mio Chibana
I am very happy to hear that "ETLANZE ON THE SEA" will be made into a movie, and I have talked with Mr. Murata since the BLCD cast talk recording! I wonder if it will be made into a movie? I was wondering if they would make a film of it. We had been talking about it for a while, and now the future has really arrived. And it's a movie! A movie! I couldn't be happier! My heart is dancing with excitement, wondering what the images will look like, what kind of background music will be played, and what kind of beautiful sea we will be able to see (laughs).
We, the actors, will do our best to express this world as well as the beauty of the images! Please look forward to it! We will do our best! Oh...that's right, it's a BL movie......but it won't hurt you. Please take a look, it's great. Please give my best regards to the original work as well.
