DMM GAMES has released information about the next major update 1.99 for "War Thunder" (War Thunder), a multi-combat online game for PC/PS4, developed in cooperation with Gaijin Entertainment. The update is scheduled to be released within the next few weeks.

War Thunder" is a free-to-play multi-combat game that has been in service since 2011. Players control aircraft, naval vessels, and tanks from Japan, the U.S., Germany, and other countries in large-scale team battles. ■How to participate in the Italian Navy CBT (Closed Beta Test)

To participate in the Italian Navy CBT (Closed Beta Test) for the next major update 1.99, players will need to complete the in-game daily tasks that will be held after the update. Alternatively, you can access the Italian Navy research tree starting immediately after the update by purchasing one of two preorder packs with pre-order benefits.

One of the preorder packs is the fully submerged hydrofoil Sparviero-class missile boat (P420), built in the early 1970s. It is equipped with an Auto Mellara 76mm compact gun capable of firing 85 rounds per minute, which is also used by the Maritime Self-Defense Force, and its powerful engine allows it to reach a top speed of 50 knots.

The Japanese helicopter tree will include several well-known anti-tank helicopters, such as the AH-1S Cobra and AH-64D Apache Longbow. At the same time, the Ground Self-Defense Force's Type 93 Short-Range Surface-to-Air Guided Missile (Near SAM)-equipped High Mobility Vehicle will be introduced to counter helicopters and other air power.
