Starts June 6 at 6pm! Interview with halca, the first in a series of events commemorating the free online live "666 Online Sabbatical" of "Evil Girl Dropkick'"!

Although the state of emergency declaration to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus has been lifted nationwide, the situation still remains unpredictable today. In order to drop-kick such a stagnant mood, "Evil Girl Dropkick'" is now available free of charge online! In order to take a bite out of this stagnant mood, "Jyakami-chan Dropkick'" will hold a free online live event "666 Online Sabbat" on June 6, 2020 at 6 p.m. The event will be held on June 6, 2020, at 6 p.m!

This sabbat will be in the form of a singing show. The host of the event will be Mr. Himasa Omori (playing the role of Yurine Hanazono) and Mr. Kazuki Yanase (advertising producer). Guests include halca singing the opening theme, ZAMB singing the ending theme, and Foreign Pop (Yurie Kosakai as Pekora, Liko Sasaki as Poporon, and Marina Yamada as Pino).

It will be broadcast via Zoom webinar and YouTube LIVE.

Akiba Research Institute asked halca, ZAMB, and Foreign Pop, who will appear as guests at this event, about their recent activities. So, what kind of stay-home have you been living ......?　In this first installment, we welcome halca.

─ ─ Thank you very much for joining us today!

halca Hello, Akiba Research Institute readers. My name is halca, and I've been with you since your debut!

halca──I'd like to start with the music video (MV) you shot for the opening theme "Tokitoki de Violence" for "Jyakami-chan Drop Kick'".

halca The setting of the world of the MV is that there are red halca, white halca, and black halca, and the story is that when they are studying magic in their room, they sneeze and black and white switch places. Many of the costumes and set pieces were taken from Yurine with respect to her worldview! I shot the film hoping to express the very cute yet ghastly ......, er, very funny and spicy part of "Evil God-chan" with a little bit of a gap in the switching of the screens. The director gave me a lot of proposals from the meeting stage, and I thought I had no choice but to do it!

─ ─ The CD jacket also has a storyline, doesn't it?

halca The best part is that Yurine-chan (on the limited time production version) doesn't give any escape to the Evil God-chan (laughs). I thought it was as expected of Yurine-sama. The back jacket also has a very cute Evil God after being beaten up, and the background is cute in an American comic style. I think the colorful and pop atmosphere connects "Evil God-chan" and "Sometimes Violence". I really wanted to be beaten up by Yurine-chan too!

─ ─ How did you spend your stay-home period?

halca Recently, I have been uploading a video project on YouTube called "playground," in which I do acoustic covers of my own songs and those of my favorite artists. During the first half of my self-restraint period, I spent every day slacking off like an evil god, but since "playground" started, I have been recording songs by myself while consulting with various people. Recently, I have been uploading a new song every five days, and it seems like every day is centered around "playground. When I started, I didn't know what to expect, and I realized that recording is really difficult. I felt I had to express my gratitude once again to the staff who always do so much for me.

─ ─ Finally, who is your favorite character in "Jyakami-chan Drop Kick'" that is currently airing?

halca I don't know what to do~....... I like them all, but I especially sympathize with Evil God-chan. I love the way she calls her friends "ATM" and her spicy side (laughs). I love her and think, "She's a no-good evil goddess, but I think we could get along really well. I also like the way she says things that she normally shouldn't say.

I also think that Yurine and Medusa would be great to live with, and visually, I like Popolon-chan. I also like Popolon-chan because she has a secret side to her! I can't get enough of them all.
